Eye test cost for DSE user - separate to work healthcare?

Your employer can discharge their obligations to meet the costs of eye tests (and glasses) if required by any means that the employer chooses. They can also specify a chosen provider. If that is via the healthcare scheme, that seems fine as the obligation is being professionally discharged by an appropriate practitioner.KittenChops said:Hi,
Just after some clarification... I spend the vast majority of my work life on a computer. My understanding is that my employer should bear the cost of an eye test, and should not redirect me to use the work healthcare scheme to pay for it. Is my understanding correct?
Thanks

Have you asked the employer for the relevant policy?3 -

I had already checked the employee handbook and it has nothing about DSE in it at all.0 -
