The lantern contact was a mistake and was sorted out rather quickly. I have a letter proving that. Court paper work again was sorted. Both of those were to do with my husband not me or any debt to do with me. And as both were sorted and in my husband's name I don't think it can possibly be to do with them.

That’s good news then. Might be worth going back over everything else you can think of debt-wise though to see if you can find anything that didn’t get sorted at the time, to try to get a heads-up on what this is about, as well as following Sourcrates’ advice earlier in the thread.

It's also possible that Lowell are pursuing a debt owed by someone of the same name as OP/OP's husband, and after no contact from that person have incorrectly tracked the name to OP's address. If OP does check their credit files and finds no CCJ, that would be my guess.

OP, why not join the credit club on MSE, where you can check your and your husband's credit file quickly and easily. Once you have that information, you'll know whether this is even anything to do with you.
