Beware the "interest free" credit. I suspect that is dependent on paying through the nose for your energy from Eon.

It's not, but I am on an eon tariff anyhow as got moved there when igloo went.  So currently just on standard price capped and can't really move as lose the price cap.

Funnily enough my new gaff is on Eon, so I've resigned myself to being on their SVT for a while. I hadn't thought of getting a solar quote from them. Perhaps I should?

No harm in asking, at least, and it will give you a benchmark.

I found them very helpful, it's an engineer who calls to do the quote, who I found very knowledgeable and actually listened to what I wanted.

I have got quote 3 coming today who slightly beats eon on price, but currently eon is my preferred just for the warrenty and fact that they are known, plus get extra seg if they install

I was interested to see that Eon offer Viridian in-roof systems, although not at the relative prices they quote!

Got a phone call back from Eon, this morning, but they can't quote until I've completed the purchase.
  • Pay us £10k for a panel or two then we will make a quote that matches......?

Unusual to have the inverter power so close to the panel power, doesn't that make it less efficient. Anyway let us know how it goes.
8kw system spread over 6 roofs , surrounded by trees and in a valley.
