Polyamory and the financial benefits

Was having a think around the options for improving our financial situation at home and got to thinking about polyamory and the potential benefits.

In no particular order;

- a 3 adult household with 2 working and 1 handling kids/domestics would provide great income and efficiency; particularly as no additional bedrooms required

- 2 working adults is much more tax efficient than 1 working adult; 2 adults earning 100K between them pay way less tax than 1 single adult earning that much as well as retaining a host of benefits (e.g. child benefit)

- Having a pool of 3 adults gives great redundancy for things like illness / death / redundancy etc. - this would allow you to take more risks with things like insurance

- The household could easily enable 1 adult to work away, e.g. several months in dubai or take that big promotion to london etc. as the 2 remaining will retain the stability at home

With all this in mind i am going to table a proposal to the missus tonight; i've already downloaded the tinder app and put together a shortlist of candidates

Will report back shortly

    What you suggest is not new.

    If you look at the history of the human species we were tribal. Groups of humans living together, with everyone responsible for the protection of the children, no matter who they belonged to. Emotions like jealousy of sexual liaisons were not even thought of since it would have been considered not good for the benefit of the future of the tribe.

    The modern day equivalent of tribal living can be found in the commune.
    So perhaps you should consider setting up a commune.

    Also, be aware that your wife might suggest a male partner for your menage a trois. How would you feel about that? Fair's, fair after all.

    You might want to nip over to the Insurance board and ask for recommendations on personal injury cover.
