In previous years I use to be able to obtain suet from my butcher but not this year.
As an alternative I’m looking at ATORA. Has anyone had success with this product and when using is it a direct substitute ie 250g for 250g. In addition I’ve been asked to do some vegetarian mincemeat, again using ATORA is it a simple one for one conversion.
I’ve never used ATORA before

Yes, Atora is fine - I've used both versions, on a 1-1 basis.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Attractive is (to my knowledge) the only prepack suet generally available & would be a true swap for butchers suet. The vegi version should again be a straight swap.
I've only ever made mincemeat with Atora, and if you look at commercial mincemeat it has very similarly shaped suet pieces.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
