Leaving a role can I use my holidays in my notice?

Hi,

So my contract states, I can give 1 weeks notice as I'm still within my 6 month probationary period, I am sure I have accumulated 5 days holiday, obviously it's nice to work the notice period and not leave the company s**t. If I have enough holiday, would I be entitled to use up my holiday and leave?

You would be "entitled" to do that only if your employer agreed.  You would not have the right to unilaterally decide to take it off.

    Indeed.

However it is worth checking your contract / employee handbook as it is not uncommon for there to be a rule that you must use up holiday during notice unless the firm tells you otherwise.
