Can i claim tax back

in Cutting tax
If i only worked April till mid July in this tax year & won't be working for the rest of it, will i be able to claim any tax back? I won't have any other income for the year either. Cheers.

Based on what you have posted and assuming no pension income yes.
Look for form P50 on gov.uk

Tick the boxes and it will take you to the correct on line claim.

One nuance - if you normally have to do a self-assessment tax return then a P50 will get you a reply from HMRC saying that they will only refund you once you've done your 2021/22 tax return.oysterman said:If i only worked April till mid July in this tax year & won't be working for the rest of it, will i be able to claim any tax back?
