Dont understand why natwest wouldnt have the CCA considering the debt was originally with them? I bank with them thats why i prefer to pay them off rather than triton, what do you think?

It could be that NatWest have 'sold' the debt to Triton, in which case NatWest would no longer have any 'interest' in the debt.
However, that would not absolve Triton of their responsibilities to provide you with the cca within 12 working days of their receipt of your request.
Even if they are 'acting on behalf' of Natwest, they, by pursuing you, must still provide the cca - they can not use the excuse that they are 'requesting' the cca from NW.

Just ignore it - do NOT phone Triton - this is only their way of trying to divert your attention away from the fact that they are unable, or unwilling, to fulfill their legal obligations under the Consumer Credit Act.

Record any further contact, other than if they send you a cca, and, if it continues, report them to Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading.

    Hey Rog2

Right so ive basically heard from natwest this morning regarding the cca who have sent me s78 information? and that they can confirm that my account has not been sold. What theyve sent me looks like terms and conditions. Its says on the letter:

"We are obliged to provide you with a "true" copy of the credit agreement and a statement of financial information relating to the account, namely, the state of the account, amount currently due, with amounts and due dates of future payments that still require to be made. In terms of CCA copy agreement at the date the card agreement was made and providing that plus a copy of the current tems of the card agreement."

So basically triton are just dealing with my account but natwest still own it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Have they actually sent you a CCA?
If you already bank with Nat West and debt is connected to Nat West.Watch out that they do not take funds out of your account with them, to pay off alleged debt. It has been known to happen.
