Employee discounts

Hi, I was made redundant from the company I had worked for for 27 years 6 weeks ago. Very unexpected, but that’s another story 😡😡
We had an employee discount scheme, we could save 7% in Argos etc, etc.
Do you think I can still use this, I still have access to the website?

Are you still an employee? No.

It would be very unwise to try and take advantage of a discount you clearly are no longer entitled to. Unless the rules of the scheme say it applies to former employees it is obvious that your continuing access is an error. A small saving could come back to bite you much harder.
  • Probably get away with using it once or twice, if your employer was a large company. I doubt anything bad would happen beyond them asking you to pay it back, which is very unlikely.
