Natwest larger payment

Part of the Furniture 100 Posts Combo Breaker

I will be making some larger payments on my Natwest Mortgage accoint around 7k.

Just wondering do they they ask proof of funda etc?

I don't want payment to be blocked.

    I doubt the payment will be blocked, but you may be asked for the source of the funds.

    There isn't much point worrying about what it going to happen, if they need to block the payments, they will and there is nothing you can do about it. It would be better to make the payments and then deal with any questions that arise.

    We have a mortgage with a different company and have paid lump sums off from 80 pounds-15k in one go and have never been asked to prove where the funds were from xx
