Hi we are from Cornwall and will be going to Wembley in August. We are travelling in are diesel car I see it is a lez charge zone. We will be there for 3 days but only travelling 2 of them do we pay for the charge zone for all 3 days or just the 2 we drive. And how do we pay this is it best in advance or after we have travelled or on the day?

It depends where you are taking the car to. Wembley however is outside the congestion charge zone by a long way and also outside the North Circular road which is the limit for the ULEZ zone if your car is sufficiently old. If diesel then 2015 or earlier.1

You can check your car herealthough as giraffe says as long as you stay outside the north circular it will not apply anyway.

You are confusing the congestion charge with ULEZ. Two different charges, 2 different zones.
Even if you do inadvertently stray inside the North or South Circulars, your diesel car will only be non-compliant if it's not Euro 6, so OK if reg'd on or after after 1st Sept 2015.
You won't be going anywhere near the CC zone.
LEZ is a 3rd charge that only applies to diesel HGV's, so irrelevant to private cars.No free lunch, and no free laptop
