I'm looking for a new TV, around 50" for our living room.

I recently moved out with my partner and we currently have a 10+ year old TV we use a firestick with, we'd like a smart TV that we can keep for a while. A bonus would be a sound bar to go with it too!
Don't focus too much on the smart features, tech moves on so fast that your smart TV from 2021 will seem slow and many features may not work in a few years. Firesticks are good as its easily upgraded when tech advances. I learn't the hard way after spending 3k on a samsung smart TV many years ago.. TV was amazing but the smart features wern't so smart after a few years.
  • I want a drawer freezer. My 2 shelf freezer at the top of my fridge is getting permanently packed, made worse as I am batch cooking and freezing in earnest.

I would also like one of those Ninja 9 in 1 or instant pots - the yogurt maker and dehydrator options sound fun but this is definitely more of a want than a need.

I also normally renew my 2 year SIM only contract over Black Friday/Cyber Monday ad it is up for renewal.
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

A good quality 43" LED TV... Freeview/Netflix app from a good brand ideally under £350...even better if under 300
Samsung UE43AU7100 is a what hi if award winner, currently £399 so keep your eye out for that dropping.  Last year were some good deals on TVs

The independent shops last year were doing discounts on tv and Samsung were throwing in free sound bar on some models, keep eye out on places like RGB direct.

A 55" 4K TV to attach to my Sky Q box. Preferably Samsung or LG, but open to suggestions.
We have a UE46B7000 at the moment, so looking to upgrade from that.

One problem is that all the feet on these new TVs seem so far apart. Our stand is not wide enough to fit most of them. Prefer single central leg that swivels, or legs not so far apart.
It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....

We're moving to a new place at start of December, so..

New bed, mattress, pillows, duvet cover, linen
New fridge freezer America style thingy
New pots and pans, induction compatible

Probably shed loads of other stuff once I put my mind to it! Don't want to rush into too much though.
