Ampoweruk, Bluegreen Energy, Omni Energy and Zebra Power, which have over 27,000 household customers between them, have become the latest energy providers to cease trading - 17 domestic suppliers have gone bust since September. If you're affected, your supply will continue and credit balances are protected. While it's likely you'll pay more now, there are no savings to be had by switching.

Bluegreen energy collapsed yesterday, according to Ofgem, the 4th company to collapse today is MA Energy.

MA energy had 300 customers apparently. Surely that us some bloke running a dropship style company in his bedroom.0

MA Energy supplied exlusively to non-domestic customers, allegedly since 2009.
Interesting, then, that their website now includes all this bumpf for domestic customers.
A diktat from Ofgem, presumably?
