My contract falls under ir35, so through umberlla company my payroll is processing. i am already opted for pension through salary sacrifice pension.
But noticed from last 2 months onward in my payslip additional they are deduction employer pension contribution £110 and employee pension contribution £183.45.
i haven't opted for such deduction, before to reach them, just want to check is it mandatory or optional. Also not given any details about provider details where are contributing.. please advise.

Both ee and er nic contributions are obligatory on wages, not optional.0

It's unclear whether the OP is referring to National Insurance deductions (which as you say are mandatory) or deductions for some sort of Pension scheme (which I beleive they could choose to opt out of) though.....Pennywise said:Both ee and er nic contributions are obligatory on wages, not optional.

Not likely to be NI as that would have the higher figure for the employer not the employee.1

Looks like you've been auto-enrolled into a pension scheme, on top of your salary sacrifice pension
. Umbrellas tend to do this after a postponement period of up to 3 months.
You should have received notification of this and details of how to opt out etc.
I'd just give them a call, if your umbrella is like mine, they are pretty useful.Pensions actuary, Runner, Dog parent, Homeowner0 -
Remember that, if you're inside IR35, YOU have to pay the ENIC, AL and the employers mandatory pension contributions.
The brolly only takes £25 a week and everything else comes out of your rate before your own Sal Sacrifice/Gross Pay is calculated0
