Overcharged for part year of council tax?

    Far simpler and keeps the amounts payable per band lower for all CT payers if there is no empty home discount. Revenue lost through EHDs has to made up by other CT payers
    In theory yes yet our council tax went up even when they got rid of EHDs
    But probably not by as much as it would have done if they had kept EHD. Apart from the odd year here and there CT has usually increased every year.
