Where does having 35 years come into things?Chapmag99 said:Does anyone know if having claimed Specified Adult Childcare Credits you get back dated pension payments? My wife is 5 years short of full 35 years NI contributions but has been taking care of our granddaughter for 4 of those 5 years. If she makes a claim will she be paid pension owed?? TIA, G.
She is under transitional rules so the chances of needing 35 years is slim.
When did she reach SPA and which tax years are the 4 years the credits would relate to?0
