Mortgage Lenders that do not use Countrywide Surveyors

Good morning everyone,
We're at the point of abandoning our Nationwide mortgage application due to Countrywide supplying two conflicting reports on the same house and refusing to acknowledge the more thorough, level 3 survey in favour of the brief valuation, that makes lots of assumptions and consequently values the property at zero. They have also been utterly useless at the admin, failing to upload files and move the process along for weeks at a time, despite repeated calls, so we don't really see that they're suddenly going to sort this out.
We're going to get on to a broker I have used in the past, but I wonder if there are any lenders that you know for sure do not use Countrywide for their valuations?
Many thanks.

When I got my mortgage with Halifax last year they used esurv.1
-
Barclays and HSBC use them
Virgin money used a different company.
Altough Countrywide did not ask for structural report, SDL surveyors did.1 -
If your chosen lender's chosen surveyor is too busy or has no coverage in your area there is every chance it could be panelled to Countrywide. HSBC instructed SDL on one of our cases and they panelled it to Countrywide.
Esurv can panel to Countrywide in the same circumstances.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
