I put this care home thing in the same bracket as "you may need a new roof"
I certainly do not a have a row or column labeled "Care Home" If it happens it happens. Mum died last year just over 91, never needed a days care in her life. A friend, whos' mum has gone into a good care at around £60K a year points out that covers literally everything. Bills, meals etc etc and nothing more to be paid so when you look at it like that it is not as expensive as it seems.
