Terms and conditions:

1. This competition closes on Friday October 29, 2021 at 5pm. Entries received after this date will not be accepted
2. Duplicate entries or entries suspected of foul play will be automatically disqualified
3. Entrants must be 18 years or older, be a UK resident and have a UK bank account. If these conditions are not met, Reach reserves the right to remove the winning status and pick another winner at random.
4. One winner will be selected from all entries using two correct codes to receive £2,500 via BACS transfer. £2,500 is the combined average cost of gas, electricity and car fuel in the UK as of September 2021 plus an additional amount to account for current rises.
5. To be considered within the winning draw, two different codes must be entered in the entry form above. Codes are to be printed in the Daily Star and Daily Star Sunday papers from Friday October 22 until Thursday October 28, 2021.
6. The earliest that the competition can be successfully entered with both codes is Saturday October 23, 2021.
7. By entering, you consent to be contacted by a member of Reach staff to confirm your prize and pass your payment details over to be used to provide your prize.
8. If the winner cannot be contacted by Reach within 7 days of being notified of their status as the winner by email, then Reach reserves the right to then select an alternate winner, who will then have 7 days to accept the prize following the same routes of contact as the original winner
9. The prize will be provided in full to the winner within 28 days of provision of BACS details.
10. The prize will be provided in GBP and the winner is responsible for the use of this for their utilities/fuel costs - no limitations are placed on the winning monies.
11. Upon entering this competition there is an option to opt in to sign up to the Daily Star daily and promotions newsletters. If you do opt in, we will contact you for these purposes only
