Please can someone tell me if the amount of interest earned is entered in full, or only the amount over the £1,000 Personal Tax Allowance?

There is no allowance for interest, it is all taxable (excluding tax free things like interest from an ISA) but some may fall to be taxed at 0% courtesy of the savings starter rate and savings nil rates of tax.0
