Are there any reliable Sealskinz alternative places to shop

Hi all,

Hope ive placed this post in the right place.

Im looking at getting some sealskinz products (hat gloves and socks ) for winter and when doing a search ive found that there are other places that seem to offer the same products but at a reduced price. I am thinking of getting them but the price has made me think twice about it so i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions/experiences  about any of the alternative places

Kind regards Mark

I am always very wary of buying branded goods from other than the manufacturing retailer.
For example, Doc Marts and UGGS.
At one time, fake UGG websites were so rife that UGG had a list of approved retailers.
I've seen lots of posts on here about people ordering from random websites and either not receiving the item or getting fakes.

So I guess it depends what alternative websites you have been looking at.
    Are they retailers you recognise?
Or could they be China based?
    Just because a website has co.uk doesn't mean it's a UK company.
Usually it's easy to tell by the grammar on the website.
Or you can check how long the company has been in existence.
    Get information about a company - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Or check out the listed address on Google.
