I'm not sure what this has to do with employment?3

Might be looking for a job as a litter Warden .OP suggest you seek advice from a solicitor for this breach of human rights .You can always ask TikTok to take it down depending upon its content .But i don't believe your number plate breaches any human rights .1

No breaches of anything, I'm afraid, on the assumption this occurred in a public place. Anything happening in a public place is fair game for photographing or filming, excluding certain things to do with terrorism. Your car registration is visible to all and sundry when out and about too.Coco52 said:Can i have some advise someone has uploaded a video of me and my car with the registration on full view on tiktok without my consent because i pulled her up on littering, surely they have breached my rights5 -
As a matter of interest, social media not really being one of mine, you had a go at someone (I assume and not commenting on the rights or wrongs), and a complete stranger uploads a video of you and your car, and then you happen across it amongst the millions of random things on the site....?5

I do wonder where this increasingly popular misconception that you need somebody's permission to film or photograph them comes from. If you stop to think for a while, if there was such a restriction, the majority of newspaper photographs could never be printed!
That said there are a few ways in which the evolving "judge made" privacy laws can be used in some very limited circumstances to restrict the publishing of such photographs (not the photography itself). That however is the exception, not the norm. Also, a bit like the libel laws any action is expensive to bring so is almost restricted to the rich and the famous. It is a very complex area and would need a specialist lawyer and not a forum like this.
Basically, when I was at college, it was always taught as follows:- If you do something in a public place (or even where you can be seen from a public place) anybody could be passing by and witness it. Why then should it be different if they see a photograph?0 -
While the video might not be a breach of any sort whatever message that goes along with it might contravene something. Is there any name calling in your direction or threats? Which rights do you think they've breached? You presumably drive your car yourself in public places, so why you think this is some sort of offence, or why someone would upload 'because you pulled her up on littering', seem equally baffling.Coco52 said:Can i have some advise someone has uploaded a video of me and my car with the registration on full view on tiktok without my consent because i pulled her up on littering, surely they have breached my rightsGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
A link might have been posted on a local Facebook Group/ Nextdoor or similar - we have both covering our local area with hundreds of members and there are numerous video links for all matter of things that people have taken umbrage at. It can be useful, but can also potentially cause huge issues. I was once sent a message by someone I knew alerting me to a post on our area Group. A child on a bicycle had been knocked down by a male driver of a white Tiguan who had then driven off - leading to many outraged posts asking who the culprit could be so that they could be reported to the police. Someone had then posted that there was a house in the road where the incident happened that owned a white Tiguan and that this information should be given to the police - others responding that they would personally go round and "sort out" the offender. That would be my car - except I'm female and was, provably, not driving it at the time! This post was seen by all my neighbours and many of the parents at the school my daughter attended where I was widely known as the Chair of the PTA. Fortunately, as I was alerted to the post, I was able to refute the allegation and the person who made it apologised. It could have been very nasty if some had followed through with their threats of vigilante justice. Facey vigilantes are the worst. This sounds just like the Hemel facebook group, a wasteland more toxic than Pripyat in 1987.68ComebackSpecial said:
