Finance Repayment Obligation

During the purchase of a new bathroom I took out interest free credit with monthly repayments over 2years (Barclays Partner Finance).

Direct debits should have commenced from January of this year but I’ve just discovered (10months later) they’re not coming out. I believe I enquired about this in January and was assured everything was setup as it should have been.

What obligation is there on me/the consumer to fix this? What are the likely legal risks if I do nothing?

Thank you

The obligation is on them, but you still owe the money, so make sure you keep it to one side as they may ask for it one go. That will also apply for 6 years after the end of the term.

It'll be easier all round if you chase them up on it.
