ESPS Uniper AVC

Hi Folks
I am a higher rate taxpayer in the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme. Thanks to this forum , i am concentrating my efforts on taking advantage of the tax benefits of pension contributions. Having requested info about the A.V.C. Scheme  ( Standard Life )  from the pension administrators  RPMI,  it seems that on retirement , I can take my whole AVC pot tax free , provided it is no more than 25% of the total value of my Pension Benefits plus Lump sum.  Similar to the LGPS which my wife is a member of.  Can anyone confirm that this is the case, as all i have is a letter stating my options from RPMI. There is no Scheme Brochure available and to be quite frank it was like 'pulling teeth' to get the info from RPMI. I will be delighted if it is the case, as I can Salary Sacrifice 9% of my pay ,so save 40% tax plus NI going in and then take it tax free on retirement!!
