Ocado and Waitrose have begun taking bookings for food deliveries over the Christmas period and so we have compiled a full breakdown of what the other leading supermarkets are doing - but you may need to act quickly as many slots have already been taken.

Depending how things go on the Covid front come Christmas, I might just leave it!

I think a fair bit of the information is wrong. Currently you can only book two weeks in advance for a Sainsbury’s delivery or collection, and that’s been the case for around a year. Previous to Covid it was 3 weeks. The most it’s ever been is 4 weeks at Christmas for Delivery Pass holders. You won’t he able to book Christmas slots until near the end of November. You are claiming you can book a collection slot now. 

Secondly, most of the bigger supermarkets don’t deliver (or have collections) on Dec 24. This avoids anyone not getting anything for their Christmas dinner etc. on Christmas Eve and having no time for either themselves or the supermarket to rectify it.

Asda opened them for delivery pass customers on the 19th October I have booked mine for 23rd.
