Hi All,

Really need some advise and reassurance. Our wedding is at the end of October and I’ve been told our marriage notice/ schedule has been rejected due to a error with the name of one application (entered double barrel surname entered as a middle name e.g Joe SMITH BLOGGS as Joe Smith BLOGGS. What do we do in this situation? Really on edge as we’ve paid for our venue and suppliers and hoping it’s straight forward to get the marriage schedule amended in time. Appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

Amit

You need to speak to the registration office who took your notice immediately ....

Who told you this, and did you not ask them what you should do?

Hi, I agree with others commenting. You need to speak to whoever advised you that the notice has been rejected. And ask them what you need to do to put it right, as everything else is ready to go for your wedding. Plenty of time!
