Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the area and have found this website incredibly helpful- many thanks to all the posters so far.
I'm starting to renovate an old victorian house in the Newtownabbey/ Carrickfergus area. It needs a rewire, new heating system (no radiators upstairs), sash window draught- proofing and some damp addressed from a leaking drainpipe which has lead to a damp wall and rotten floor joist beneath- yes quite a bit of work!
Can anyone recommend any reliable :
- electricians
- plumber / heating engineer
- general builder
- joiner or someone who works with sash window restoration
Or perhaps you can recommend someone/contractor that would take on the whole job?
Apologies it's quite a list but any local recommendations would be a huge help.
Thank you
