Best options for real time solar export monitoring

So install hopefully happening next Friday, delayed a week as inverter out of stock.
I was thinking about best way of tracking solar usage, it will be a SolarEdge inverter so I believe I'll easily be able to monitor my generation via the app and can get that imported into Home Assistant but I assume the inverter has no concept of the actual grid export?
Have looked at the following options - does anyone have much experience with them?

Have looked at the following options - does anyone have much experience with them?
- I have a SMETSv1 (upgraded to send data so acts like a SMETSv2) but I'm currently without a IHD/CAD device. I use Glowmarkt Bright app to track usage. If possible I'd like to track the data from the smart meter itself as it saves additional devices - so may invest in a GlowStick (https://shop.glowmarkt.com/products/glow-stick) but its unclear if the Export readings are supported?
- Install something like the SolarEdge energy meter w/modbus?
- Other alternatives are energy monitors using CT clamps like the MyEnergi Harvi and Hub? Which may make sense if I get an Eddi but they all add up fairly quickly!
- There's also the openenergymonitor project which uses CT clamps but a DIY device approach - although the prepared unit from their shop is actually quite pricey. It does do voltage monitoring so potentially more accurate than just CT clamp approach.

I use the Myenergi kit because I have a Zappi and an EV. The app is pretty good at showing reasonably accurate live data. I hadn't considered people just using a harvi as a monitor so not sure what's possible.
The answer is to get an EV. Then you'll have somewhere to send all that lovely energy you generate.1 -
Are you looking for live export, or just daily/weekly/etc. totals? For live data I've got a Loop device: https://loop.homes/It gives instantaneous (and last-five-minutes) live energy use/export, and can be read from anywhere over the internet. The device isn't directional so it doesn't telll you whether you're importing or exporting but it's usually easy to guess. It's a little bit frustrating at times - there's so much more it could do, but doesn't - but it works and isn't stupidly expensive. They have a smart meter app too. I haven't tried that but it looks to be free, so you could try it out even before you get solar installed?Loop doesn't give me running export totals (one of those things it could do, but doesn't) so I make do by reading my smartmeter daily. I don't have an export MPAN but if I did, kttp://www.n3rgy.com *might* let me download my export data. (Can someone with metered export confirm this?)N. Hampshire, he/him. As you're familiar with home assistant, why not just get an Owl and clip it to the generation side of your array? Minus the incoming power off that and you've got your export.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0

Similar cost and price to the other CT clamp options?
The Shelly EM looks slightly better as it measures voltage so more accurate, but I think I'm going to hold out for a Hildebrand IHD/CAD when they come in stock0 -
Used cm130 is £22 on ebay but you'd need a RTL-SDR to listen on 433mhz, I have a spare one somewhere which I could send you for the price of postage if you want to explore that avenue.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0
