P4 parking

Hi

Visited a development yesterday (for literally 10 minutes) at Salamander Court in Edinburgh, came out to find a parking ticket from the above company telling me I was illegally parked and due to pay them £100 !!!   or   £60 if I paid within 14 days.   Apart from finding this daylight robbery, can anyone advise on legal position as to whether I should pay or not?
