Hi.
Does anyone know if a vehicle, for example, is registered in England can get an MOT in Northern Ireland?
Also, a similar question, is it possiblee for a registered vehicle in Northern Ireland to get an MOT in England?
Do you guys know if I can insure a vehicle registered in Northern Ireland with a company that is from England? Or do I need to insure it with a Northern Irish company? Thank you.

Not a problem. NI number plates are slightly different to those in cars in England Scotland and Wales but the cars are still registered as UK vehicles. Check with MOT centre in Northern Ireland.0

Remember that the MOT rules are different in NI - starts a year later, and it's only through govt test facilities.
Insurance wise... the big companies cover NI, of course.
I've used: Direct Line, the AA and John Lewis, in recent years.
One thing to check is how they treat visits south of the border. You don't need a green card, but sometimes the cover is dramatically different0 -
Yes you can but if there is a part month still to run on the existing mot it won't be honoured - it's just runs for a year from the date the mot is actually passed if you are getting a NI registered car MOTd in England or vice versa.
