Heads up, compers! In order to investigate a technical issue, we've had to move some of the older threads from Game Over into a new category called 'Game Over Archives'. It'll be comps from before 2017, so shouldn't have too much impact on your day-to-day Forum experience. Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Jambo,

I can't promise, but perhaps try

    1) Click "Account" (down arrow, top of page, next to notifications bell).
    2) "Settings and privacy"
    3) "Privacy checkup"
    4) "Your ad preferences on FB"

That should lead to you where you click on/off for what info they can use for advertising.

If that isn't exactly what you are looking for, perhaps one of the other options along the way might be?

Your pompous attitude and condescending comments have convinced me that you are very smart and important, said no one ever.

Thanks Blu, I have gone on this morning and I am not getting any adds, so something has changed.

For using on a pc/laptop I use FB Purity extension. It can be set to block all sorts and set up for how you like it.
