Utility Warehouse Partner

Hello all, hope you're well. So I was recommended to take part in a scheme by Utility Warehouse about becoming a partner where you potentially earn more money for signing people up and you get paid lots a month however, to me, it sounds too good to be true so I've chosen not to but looking it up, I've read it isn't what it makes out. Apparently, there's hidden costs and they charge you to join etc. This person quickly denied that claiming it was an old article. Has anyone done this before and if you have, how true is it because I'm not signing up for something I know nothing about
Many thanks people
