Stamp duty in transfer of equity

My partner and I are in the process of remortgaging. We had to remortgage in my name only due to his bad credit rating, so there will be a transfer of equity. Will this be subject to stamp duty???
The value of his share being transferred is £115k (£80k mortgage and £25k equity)
Is stamp duty calculated on on the share? Or on the total house value (£210k)
Feeling confused, any advice gratefully received!
