    Hi Betharooni,

I'd say there are no hard and set rules re any of the Projects.  Certainly, if it will motivate you to use certain products more then go for it.  I seem to have a reverse psychology thing going on with the Projects at the mo in that I put products in and then ignore them!

Philosophy Amazing Grace Body Lotion 480ml - I think they describe this as Firming Body Emulsion - yeah right.  Nice enough, not hugely moisturising, I prefer the whipped body creams they do.

Yes, I never understood the "firming" assertion either.

This thread has really made me laugh and also realise I’m not alone and need to join you all for November!
After being full of cold, sore throat etc for 2 weeks I treated myself to the m&s advent calendar! I have so much stuff already that I really didn’t need it but so many nice things inside and the only things I won’t use are 2 eyeliners but having 2 daughters they get one each. I also bought a Latest in Beauty box in their last sale and am still working through all of this.
So tonight I have used up a shampoo and conditioner sample and a face mask and some hair oil and thrown away some old make-up and plan to paint my toenails. So a good start but I have so much!
l also have a cera ve face wash that made the skin round my eyes so dry that I stopped using it, after reading the posts I realised I can just use the rest as handwash, thanks for the tip👍
I then need to put together a PP list for November onwards.
I never used to buy all this stuff until COVID lockdown!

Welcome perfect10.  I fully understand that lockdown had that affect on you.  My overspending on cosmetics started when I was made redundant and was sat at home with QVC for company.

I have bought the M&S advent calendar too.  My reason was FOMO.  For the last couple of years I've turned up at M&S to buy something to find that the calendar already sold out.  This year I have jumped on it so as not to miss out.  Looking forward to opening it though as I think I'll use everything.

  • Hi All

Hope you've all had good weekends.

2 more UU's here, Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm which was lovely, really effective but not too greasy and a Radox bubble bath, £2 added to the tin.  Need to find another facial cleanser in the stash and the moisturiser I'm using at night is nearly all gone too (have cut the tub to get to the last of it).

    Have a great day
