Will my IHD start working with Sainsbury's/Eon?

Years ago when I was with British Gas I got smart meters fitted and of course the IHD displayed my usage.
I switched to Bulb and IHD stopped working after a month, I went back to British Gas and the IHD started working again
I left BG and went to Green Energy when after a month the IHD stopped working.
I am now with Sainsbury's Energy though it says Eon on the email I got so will my IHD start working again or will Sainsbury's change the meters since my tariff is reliant on me having smart meters?
