Council tax valuation challenge

Options
Hello, I have challenged the VOA’s banding of my new build property, and have been declined. I spent many hours gathering information to support my challenge using the .gov website and right move historic sales which occasionally shows the floor plan and square meters. I am unable to access info on properties that a) have not been sold in recent years , and b) are not listed on the .gov website.(there’s quite a few) . how unfair that so many properties have extended and improved since 1991, yet,  until sold will not be re evaluated. We are self builders, so have built a house larger than we could afford to buy(average price for 3bed £300 k in my area). I am going to continue my research in the hope that I can gather enough evidence to make an appeal. Has anyone else had similar dealings with this Matter?

How does your band compare with those of recently built houses of a similar type and size?
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
