Thank you for comments - I am trying to make sense of drop in pension quotes depending on date

Have just looked again at estimates for various dates of taking DB pension, and the quotes drop by about 1.4% on 01 Jan 2022, and then again by another 0.8% on 06/04/2022. I am told that this is because increase factor for 2022 not known yet, will be based on Dec 2021 figure, so has been left off. So for quote before 01/01/2022, figure is based on 20 years deferment, and quotes after on 19 years.

Therefore I assume that the year which has "dropped off" is 2001, and googling CPI for Dec 2001 I think it was about 1.1%, so not quite sure why pension dropped off by 1.4%   - any ideas? Assuming 0.8% is something to do with GMP for 2001 but not sure how this works?

Even so I am thinking that decision on whether to wait until after Jan 2021 before taking pension will depend on whether CPI Dec 2021 is likely to be more or less than CPI Dec 2001. Any opinions? And is there anywhere to look up estimates for what RPI is likely to be in Dec 2021 and Dec 2022?

Thank you for any help on this.
