Solar panels maybe with battery

Hi all,
I'm about to move house this week and one of the first things I'm looking to do is get some solar panels fitted.
From what I can gather I should have about 20m2 (squared) on a South southwest facing roof. So roughly 10 panels I'd be hoping for.
I currently only use around 2500kwh per year.
I live in East Sussex.
Also wondering what experiences people have had with solar and what panels they have or would recommend?
Is it worth trying to maximise my roof space and get something like 380-400w panels or should I go a bit lower to maximise cost efficiency?
There are a few brands I like the look of. The ones I like the most are REC alpha. Apparently similar in quality to sunpower and LG but a bit cheaper normally. Just need an installer for them.
Has anyone got any recommendations on companies they have used in this area? Doesn't have to be for REC panels.
