Hello so I'm a massive worrier we are currently looking to borrow £43,500 from Skipton and they have given us a mortgage in principle .. have they already done a credit check then ?

No, only on full application will things become more clearer and more absolute. Some MIP don't use Credit checks but it won't be a full check on your affordability and history which a full application will do"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
