McGuigan is a pretty strong wine, half a bottle of that and you certainly know it!

Pleased i'm in England then as the wine is normally £5.10 a bottle and we wouldn't get it on offer then in Wales or Scotland!

I was on the prowl for dishwasher rinse aid before my local Asda closed this afternoon and couldn't help but notice that they too have 25% off all wines priced £4.75 and above if 6+ bottles are purchased so have the slight edge on Sainsbos. This McGuigan's stuff was on offer for £5.50 instead of £6 plus the discount if you but a case or more. What I'm not sure is the end date for the offer.

Well I went back and loaded up this evening. There was the added complication of sitting in the same queue as people buying fuel thanks to the ingenious system that routed fuel-seekers around the circumference of the car park, but it was still worth it.

The wine offer doesn't apply to Scotland.

I logged on to stock up on wine from Sainsbury's and they've stopped selling my favourite Sauvignon Blanc!! Asda now have my custom instead.
