G99 process

Does any one have experience with how long the approval for G99 takes with UK Power networks and what sort of cost is involved, if any?  
This would be for 6.6KW solar panel and possibly 4.8KW battery install

I don't know the answer but I'm hoping to get a G99 connection for the house I'm purchasing in Wales. (DNO Western Power)

Hi ispookie666. my installer applied on 27 July 2021 &  I received confirmation on September 24,   there are no costs involved,  (UK Power Networks LCT)

but you should be aware that permission can be refused, so you may not be able to export anything. My installer recalled an instance were a 10 kw system was installed and an application made but was turned down, due to the cables/transformer not being up to the load, so applied for the 3.6 export that you get anyway and was refused that on the grounds they had refused his previous application. ( it was at the end of a long lane with old wiring ) but your installer should be able to advise.
