Trying to book split to London

Hi trying to book Split to London around Oct 7th but finding it impossible. Skyscanner quote £150 yet Brit airways quoted 43 euros yesterday at 2.45 but kept showing Euros then when I tried to book shot up to £86. Is it a con? Same thing this morning was going to call them but there is a £10 booking fee. Also why does it only show in Euros? Will it cost me more? Any ideas? Thanks.

Looking at ba.com there is only a code share with Croatia Airlines with a change in  Zagreb on 7th October. That is €200+. 


Can you fly a day later?  It's then direct and from €76.


I expect it is quoting in Euro as you are flying from a non-GBP£ sterling country and BA don't want to trade in Kuna.

It is not impossible at all, easyjet have two flights to Luton and Gatwick at decent times for 62 and 73 euros respectively
