Trying to book split to London

Hi trying to book Split to London around Oct 7th but finding it impossible. Skyscanner quote £150 yet Brit airways quoted 43 euros yesterday at 2.45 but kept showing Euros then when I tried to book shot up to £86. Is it a con? Same thing this morning was going to call them but there is a £10 booking fee. Also why does it only show in Euros? Will it cost me more? Any ideas? Thanks.

Looking at ba.com there is only a code share with Croatia Airlines with a change in Zagreb on 7th October. That is €200+.

Can you fly a day later? It's then direct and from €76.
I expect it is quoting in Euro as you are flying from a non-GBP£ sterling country and BA don't want to trade in Kuna.1 -
It is not impossible at all, easyjet have two flights to Luton and Gatwick at decent times for 62 and 73 euros respectively1
