Taking a shorter train journey than I've booked

I've got an LNER Flat Fare return ticket London to Inverness. What will happen if I try to just disembark and board at Aviemore? I see nothing in the terms and conditions to say I can't do this. But I'm wondering if I'll have problems at a ticket barrier at Aviemore.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No such thing as a 'flat fare' ticket. What is the actual type of ticket you have bought?0

I have two "LNER Flat Fare Single" tickets. The above is a screenshot.0 -
The "Flat Fare" is LNER marketing.
You need to check what restrictions it has and whether it is in fact an Advance fare restricted ficket, or a more expensive ticket offering some flexibility,0 -
Well these are the terms and conditions that they provide. Nothing to say that you can't shorten your journey. I can print them out to take them along with me. Even so, I could imagine getting into an argument with them at the ticket barrier, and I'm not sure where that would end up.

It looks like you have booked an Advance ticket as it states 'Valid on selected train only'.
The LNER terms and conditions online for Advance tickets say that: "You may not start, break and resume, or end your journey at an intermediate station except to change to/from appropriate connecting trains where these are shown on your ticket(s) or other official itinerary.

The terms and conditions are those that I have quoted, not those for another type of ticket that might look similar.0

if you are that confident you know the answer, why have you asked the question on here?
I would agree like SandyShores it reads as an advance ticket and these terms apply.

No, seriously, I have formed my view of the answer since posting on here.0
