Mortgage options for self employed

Hi all, looking for any opinions or options that I may not have explored in regards to self employed mortgage routes.
Myself and my partner are both 10 years plus self employed. We have saved £25k for a deposit for a mortgage and aiming to save £30-£35k in total. My partner already joint owns the family home on a 3 way split mortgage.
So with that in mind I am a first time buyer so eligible to help to buy / other government funds, but would have to do the whole thing solo and the cap for London wouldn’t stretch our needs - 3 bed in London.
Due to the pandemic we both had a nosedive in earnings for the 20/21 tax return so won’t look favourable to lenders (although all other years fine).
Are there any other mortgage options that I have missed, or are we at a dead end?
Thanks in advance

Have you looked at Halifax? We used a broker, my husband took on a second job as self employed to boost our income, they found us a Halifax mortgage. Maybe worth a try.
Good luck.1
