WBAC settlement

First post, would appreciate some help….
landrover contacted me a month ago interested in buying my 2 yr old evoque for £3500 more than the current PCP settlement figure. Just for interest I got an online WeBuyAnyCar valuation, this came out at nearly £7k more. Given then reputation I booked an appointment and the vehicle was inspected. They knocked me down just over £600 so still over £6.5k more than PCP settle my figure and £3k more than landrover?
any reason I should avoid WBAC? - any risk they would settle PCP finance? I’m guessing they can’t sell the car on with finance outstanding?
thanks in advance

No, they do this all the time. Just confirm that they will settle the outstanding the remaining finance and wait for the confirmation from the finance company that the loan is settled.
It can be worth ringing around local dealers and garages too. See if any are interested in purchasing it and what they may offer as a straight purchase.
I did this recently for my partners car and achieved a higher price than WBAC, and they were just 5mins up the road. All done in a matter of minutes. Again just be sure they are aware there is outstanding finance.0 -
They will know, as a finance check is done as standard, they cant sell on a car with outstanding finance, as its not theirs to sell, they will/must settle any outstanding finance when they make the purchase from you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Tell the Landrover garage what the WBAC valuation is (online amount not the -£600 amount) and see what they say - don't tell them what WBACs final offer was as you might as well play them at their own game. If you are going to buy something else see what that dealer will give you for it.Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.0
