What debts do you have? Would you be able to complete an SOA (statement of affairs). There is a link in a pinned post on this board.

Naomim is right about the SOA - that's the first step, and without that we really can't help much. In theory the answer to your question is simple, pay more off the debt each month than the interest is adding, but without a proper solid household budget in place and being stuck to, that may be difficult.
