EWS1 Form and B2 Rating

Hi All,
This isn't for my mortgage as mine was successfully offered on my purchase yesterday. (with Natwest who took... 1 week! amazing.)
My buyer is struggling to complete their mortgage with Halifax as they have requested an EWS1. Eventhough according to guidance, we aren't required to have one, our builder Taylor Wimpey have completed one for every building on our estate due to many people being unable to sell without one. Our instrusives were a week or two ago so I'm anticipating we will have our results either end of Sept or October sometime.
I've seen most other blocks on our estate have received a rating of B2 so I'm anticipating the worst and we will get this.
We have written confirmation from them that they will be covering all remedials cost as our building is only just out of warranty which is fab as I've seen others with horrific bills.
Now my issue is that I dont think my buyer is clued up on EWS1, and their broker have said Halifax is their only lender due to one of their incomes being self employed.
Does anyone have any experience selling with a B2 rating with Halifax at all? I'm only looking for some positives before I wallow eternity in self pity lol.
Thanks!
