I seem to have gotten 29.9% if my maths are correct?Pre uplift transfer value 31/03/21
Qualifying with profits £142,600.00
other investment £47,209.00
total transfer value £189,809.00
Just logged in Value £232,346.00, very poor site as it doesn’t give much details.plus I don’t seem to have any growth in the fund since March
Maybe I did get growth? and not the full 29.9%?A thankyou is payment enough .0 -
Possibly the growth in your 'other investment' is masking a drop in the value of your qualifying with profits.plumb1_2 said:I seem to have gotten 29.9% if my maths are correct?Pre uplift transfer value 31/03/21

With nine months of reasonable market conditions and an alleged 29.9% uplift mine is now 120% of its March 31st value.0 -

As far as I know your terminal bonus is included in the Fund Value you can see on your online account. Assuming you've got the same screens as me there's a purple 'Print Plan Summary' button on the top right of the screen if you click on your policy name in the 'Policy Details' screen. That document gives a breakdown (of sorts) of how the values are reached.

Doesn't say much for me "Talisman Plan" all a bit smoke and mirrors, even if the 29.9% bonus is based on march figures, whats happened to the growth up to 31/12/21. Personally can't wait to be able to wrap this all up upon maturity,FatFred66 said:As far as I know your terminal bonus is included in the Fund Value you can see on your online account. On my account Funds Investing In
With Profits
with profits 1
with profits 2. With 3 separate values in each. So 3 separate funds ?
plus with profit terminal bonus NPR £47k and with profits RB £61k
Things don’t add up to my pea brain 😊
But I think these bonus’s are already added to the fund value.
And my thinking the fund is now in the RL fund and SL fund closed.

Mine's certainly not based on the value in March - nor did I expect it to be. I expected it to be the value on 31/12 plus 29.9%.
The value on 31/12 was already lower than the value in March, then they didn't add the full 29.9% and now it's dropped almost 3% in one day.
You're still contributing aren't you? If so your value includes payments you've made since March and presumably your underlying fund has experienced the same negative growth as mine has.
Today I have 10% less than the apparent 'certainty' offered me by the original proposal.0 -
Yes I am still paying in only £50 p/m (£67 with tax relief)as they had my retirement date wrong a few years ago and wouldn’t let me increase payments and lost life cover.FatFred66 said:

so since March whatever I’ve paid in has not increased the fund? Unless I’ve not got the 29.9%A thankyou is payment enough .0
