Party/Pamper hamper idea?

My friend's 50th is in 6 months time but thought I'd start planning her gift now (and look for things in the sales etc). I thought about a Party/Pamper basket. One side would be bubbly, glasses and a few nice treats the other side would be nice bubble bath, candles, slippers etc. The party half of the basket would be in gold and the pamper side in pastels so that its half and half. Does this sound ok?

    sounds nice to me, only one thing, from experience doing hampers you will change everything around so much once you have it all so that it sits nice - i personally wouldnt get too hung up on the colour scheme

    Thanks for the advice. Seen a vanity case and make up bag in pale blue suede in Tesco's for a pound so that'll start me off.
